Finance/Brokerage
Jeff’s real estate career began as a commercial real estate lender
for Bank of New England in 1986. By 1990, he was Vice President for
Fleet Bank in the RECOLL Management subsidiary where he had
responsibility for devising workout strategies for a portfolio of
over $150 million in non-performing commercial real estate loans.
Jeff joined Landauer Real Estate Counselors in 1996 where he was
Director of Financial Services - Northeast Region. At Landauer he
implemented and managed the commercial mortgage brokerage functions
within the Landauer Boston Capital Markets Group, arranging in
excess of $150 million in traditional debt financing as well as high
leverage/mezzanine debt and equity for commercial properties on a
national level.
In addition he was Managing Director of the Landauer Loan Sale
Advisory Group with core responsibilities of underwriting,
valuation, marketing presentation and sale of over $500 million of
commercial whole loan debt. Loans included commercial real estate
mortgages, mortgage-backed securities and participation interests.
Internet Technology & Investment Sale Marketing
In 2000, Jeff founded RE Diligence, a real estate marketing consulting
practice that specialized in devising and implementing strategies to enhance marketing of commercial and hospitality
real estate. RED has consulted for firms such as CBRE, Insignia ESG, Grubb & Ellis,
Paine Webber Properties, Lend Lease REI, O'Connell Hospitality Group, Maxim Hotel Brokerage
and Nordblom Company. RED has produced
investment offering memorandums and devised Internet marketing strategies
for the sale of over 100
commercial properties and hotels totaling in excess of $750 million. |
